Home automation allows functions within your home to be tailored to meet specific requirements.For example:
- PIR detectors can not only turn on and off lights when entering or leaving a room,but they can also reduce the room temperature when left unoccupied.
- Smoke detectors,water level detectors and security alarm systems can be monitored and linked in to the system.
- SMS messages can be received from the system to let you know something has happened,for example your security alarm has been activated.
- Air conditioners can be programmed to switch on at specific times of the day/night dependant on predetermined room temperatures specified by the home owner.
- Outdoor security lighting can be linked to a daylight sensor to switch on lights when required.Lighting can replay pre-recorded lighting activity,creating the illusion that somebody is home.
